My name is Janessa Nevill, and this is my 8th year at Ecole Plamondon. I began pursuing my post-secondary education in 2003 at Grant MacEwan College, where I started an undergraduate degree in Science and completed it at the University of Alberta. Following my Bachelor of Science, I returned back to the U of A to complete an after degree in Education. Throughout my career, I have taught many ages and subjects, from first grade through ninth. My favorite subjects to teach are science and math, as they were my favorite subjects growing up.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time at home reading, crafting, gaming, and spending time with my three cats, and my husband. I enjoy going for walks, riding my bike, swimming and camping during the summer, and I love to travel. Over the past few years, I have traveled to Europe, Quebec, Mexico, the United States, and I have spent lots of time in British Columbia. I enjoy sharing with students my experiences, photos, and knowledge about various places I have visited.
